Something you may or may not know?
Windows 10, all versions, will end all support after October 14, 2025.
So, in this article, we’ll discuss what local IT teams should consider for commercial computers in the coming year.
Due to the rollout of Windows 11 Pro version 24H2, I’ve been busy verifying the upgrade to 24H2, which delayed this article a bit.
Now, after some hands-on testing, I’d like to talk about how to choose suitable computer equipment for enterprise business environments in 2025.
Before we start, a friendly reminder: when entering the commercial field, the first thing to recognize is to move away from the "gamer mindset" and embrace efficiency and stability!
As an experienced IT service provider, I understand that enterprise needs for computers differ significantly from those of regular consumers.
Stability, reliability, ease of maintenance, and smooth performance are what enterprises truly need, rather than chasing the latest, highest-spec equipment.
Enterprises require "system computers" (commonly known as pre-built PCs) and commercial laptops that balance performance and mobility.
ASUS commercial desktops and laptops undergo rigorous compatibility and stability testing.
(Yes! Including Windows 11 Pro 24H2, which has been fully validated).
They come with a three-year comprehensive warranty and convenient on-site repair services, effectively reducing system downtime risks and ensuring smooth business operations.
The ASUS ExpertBook commercial laptop series, equipped with the latest AI technology,
not only offers powerful computing capabilities but also meets diverse business application scenarios, such as:
AI noise cancellation: Provides a clear video conferencing experience for smoother communication.
Intelligent performance optimization: Automatically adjusts system performance based on usage scenarios, boosting work efficiency.
With a wide array of specifications, how do you choose the most suitable commercial computer?
The answer is: base it on your company’s attributes and departmental needs! Choosing the right model not only improves employee efficiency but also helps allocate budgets effectively, ensuring every penny is well spent.
This time, let’s explore how ASUS’s recently launched online commercial series can help you build an efficient and stable office environment, thriving in the AI era!
ASUS ExpertBook P5 (P5405CSA) & ASUS ExpertCenter Professional Commercial Desktop Series
For desktops in 2025, we’ve selected three commercial desktop computers to showcase and will teach you how to pick the model best suited for your enterprise.
So, the three professional commercial desktop models we’re presenting today are (from left to right in the image):
ASUS ExpertCenter SFF Series
ASUS ExpertCenter Mini Tower Series

Microsoft’s usage guidelines do not mandate that only Windows 11 Pro can be used in commercial environments.
However, Windows 11 Pro includes domain-joining capabilities (unlike the consumer-oriented Windows 11 Home), making it easier for internal enterprise management.
It’s designed specifically for commercial environments, making it more suitable for enterprise IT systems.
All three series of commercial desktops come pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro operating system.
They’re ready to use out of the box—no need to purchase additional system licenses.
In terms of hardware, as of the publication deadline, the highest specifications across the series have been updated to Intel 14th Gen CPUs.
(In Q2, they may upgrade to Intel Core Ultra 200S desktop processors (Arrow Lake) series, and we’ll provide updated testing then.)
Additionally, all four models (including the laptop) can smoothly and stably upgrade to Windows 11 Pro version 24H2.
They still allow users to easily perform various network management settings.
For companies prioritizing information security, this is a fundamental requirement.
Paired with the full series’ inclusion of TPM chips and Kensington security locks, security is further enhanced.

For current Windows 11-installed devices, those with CPUs integrating NPU cores will receive update pushes first.
ASUS has already launched the new AI-capable ASUS ExpertBook series.
For example, we previously wrote about:
In Q4 2024, ASUS also introduced its first laptops equipped with Intel Core Ultra 200V Series processors.
These offer higher AI performance than the 100 series, with a platform delivering 120 TOPS and an NPU up to 47 TOPS.
The latest ExpertBook P5 (P5405CSA) breaks away from the traditional ExpertBook color design.
It feels younger and more vibrant while retaining a professional look, with an even more appealing appearance.
Overall, when I received it, it was pre-installed with the latest Windows 11 Pro 24H2 release.
It also comes with a suite of ASUS’s proprietary AI software, “AI ExpertMeet,” and enhanced features.
The I/O interfaces are comprehensive, though compared to previous models,
it lacks a physical Ethernet port and an interface for RJ-45 Ethernet adapters.
ASUS has added a new AI-assisted meeting software to the ExpertBook P5 (P5405CSA),
AI ExpertMeet
It’s integrated into the new ASUS Expert Panel,
making it easier to access various meeting-related functions.

These features, combined with NPU core computing, enhance the effectiveness of online meetings.
For commercial desktops, I selected the following three models based on chassis size.
Within a single ASUS series, computers may have sub-models with different detailed specifications.
But don’t worry—as mentioned earlier, these machines have been validated.
They all operate stably in the Windows 11 Pro 24H2 environment.
ASUS ExpertCenter Tower Series
This is the largest and most expandable model in the ExpertCenter lineup.
Most buyers opt for versions with high-performance discrete graphics cards.
By default, it’s suitable for design applications, efficiently and quickly handling image editing or video production tasks.
Due to its excellent expandability, users or enterprises often add or upgrade components to enhance performance or functionality.
It’s commonly used as a control host for tool machines after installing specific interface cards.
ASUS ExpertCenter Mini Tower Series
The Mini Tower series balances size between Tower and SFF (Small Form Factor), offering both expandability and space efficiency.
It’s designed for complex office multitasking and applications while retaining ample expansion space for users or enterprises.
Optional discrete graphics cards can meet graphics performance needs.
Expandable when necessary, its smaller size offers more placement options, making it a versatile commercial desktop choice.
We’ve written a detailed unboxing for this series—check it out:
ASUS ExpertCenter SFF (Small Form Factor) Series
The SFF series is characterized by its compact chassis, designed for multitasking office work.
Its ultra-small size is convenient for both vertical and horizontal placement, optimizing office space usage.
Despite the smaller chassis, users and enterprises can still maximize storage and memory capacity to boost performance, making it an excellent choice for compact power.
Additionally, ASUS has introduced the “Commercial Squad” service team for enterprise users.
This service is highly practical for SMEs, as many lack dedicated professional IT staff.
Often, the employee most familiar with consumer PCs doubles as IT staff.
Even procurement is sometimes handled by admin or accounting staff who may not fully understand basic specifications.
When transitioning to a commercial system environment, companies often struggle to find models that match their budget and needs.
For enterprises with equipment procurement needs, ASUS’s Commercial Squad bridges the gap between IT staff and procurement.
It prevents situations where specification A is requested but specification B is purchased, which may be inadequate or entirely incorrect.
It also offers customized recommendations for commercial models.
Hardware and software can be tailored to meet business client needs, ensuring the fastest response to requirements.
In case of future hardware issues, it provides remote or on-site troubleshooting services.
This avoids communication breakdowns due to lengthy procurement or repair processes.
It also offers immediate technical support, such as assisting company IT staff in resolving issues with third-party software that doesn’t run smoothly.
Overall, ASUS’s Commercial Squad is a valuable partner for pre-sales planning, in-sales consultation, and after-sales service.
It’s capable of assisting enterprises and studios with upgrading to Windows 11 Pro, replacing equipment, and setting up environments.
ASUS has also launched a comprehensive support service, “ASUS Business Support Plus”. Interested readers can learn more.
In commercial environments, users should prioritize warranty and repair services.
The ASUS Expert commercial series offers a three-year global warranty, extendable to five years, with on-site repair services in Taiwan.
Paired with the MyASUS in WinRE self-diagnostic software, it helps business users and company hardware maintenance staff quickly identify issues.
Through the MyASUS in WinRE diagnostic report, repair staff can quickly understand the problem.
This eliminates miscommunication with repair staff, improving maintenance efficiency and satisfaction.
Combined with ASUS’s Commercial Squad comprehensive services, companies receive full support from customized procurement to backend maintenance.
High reliability ensures business users and professionals have no worries.
Enterprise trust in the product is reflected in its sales performance.
ASUS Expert commercial series has achieved market leadership in Taiwan 17 times and is on track for an 18th, with undeniable team professionalism and strong enterprise trust in ASUS commercial products!
Let’s wrap up with a summary.
The direction for choosing hosts in the first half of this year follows the principles mentioned earlier.
These models meet the needs of modern hardware and software.
Our work focus during this period will be on upgrading to Windows 11 Pro.
We’ve already covered the new features available with Windows 11 Pro 24H2.
The urgency to complete this in the first half of the year stems from Windows 10’s complete end of updates after October 14, 2025.
Before this deadline, aim to upgrade existing commercial systems to Windows 11 Pro 24H2.
This ensures continued receipt of monthly security updates from Microsoft.
It protects your system in an era rife with malware, preventing attacks or exploitation for criminal activities.
There are too many examples of this.
Searching online or visiting compromised supplier or logistics websites can expose you to data theft or make you a conduit for attacking others via newly discovered vulnerabilities.
Don’t wait for incidents to happen—it’s not okay to deal with them after the fact!!!
In the foreseeable future, everyday software, including browsers and subscription-based apps, will gradually cease support or become unusable.
When that happens, addressing it later may reveal a significant gap between new and discontinued versions.
This would require costly training to get employees up to speed, which isn’t cost-effective.
This is why we must urgently Windows 11-ize commercial environments as soon as possible.
From now until mid-year, my advice is:
Act quickly, upgrade and transition before the deadline—don’t let your equipment become a future workplace liability.
Local IT teams, keep it up!!!
