Rarely do I think to unbox a new memory card.
Recently, I discovered that ADATA has launched a high-endurance memory card specifically for surveillance cameras and dash cams.
The more common name you might see is "High Endurance Memory Card," and the model is
ADATA HIGH ENDURANCE 128GB
Currently, a single card isn't expensive, around under NT$400.
There's also a 256GB model, around under NT$600.
Before purchasing, make sure to check the maximum capacity supported by your device.
Many on the market only go up to 128GB (most dash cams max out at 128GB).

The packaging is as expected: a standard blister pack like the one shown above.
One MicroSD card + one adapter each.
The top right corner indicates a guarantee of at least 20,000 hours of 4K writing.
That works out to about 833 ~ 834 days, or roughly 2 years.
The MicroSD card itself has all the info printed on it.

It complies with UHS-I U3 and Video Speed Class V30: indicating a minimum write speed of 30 MB/s

App Performance Class A2: If the reading device is powerful enough, it can reach 4000 / 2000 IOPS.

Let me verify that quickly.
I'm using the Kingston Media Reader USB3.0 card reader, which is a bit old, so the speeds might differ from the specs.
Read: 92.71 MB/s (official spec is 100 MB/s).
Write: 50.85 MB/s.

The IOPS numbers are at the bottom.

Now, I plan to use it to feed my Xiaomi dual-lens IPCAM.
I'll leave the article here for now ~ we'll see if it "graduates early" and I'll update later.
